Somerset Arts Week: SAW is a non-profit-making organisation dedicated to developing, promoting and facilitating the creative arts at local level throughout Somerset. These aims are pursued through a variety of projects, local area networks, initiatives and partnerships, together with our headline open-studios event, Somerset Art Weeks itself.
Somerset Association for the Blind: The Association offers a countywide visiting service. Volunteers are trained in all aspects of visual awareness and help with correspondence, reading bills, trips out, etc. The Association offers tape copying and a braille service.
Somerset Black Development Agency: Somerset Black Development Agency (SBDA) is an organisation for developing the black voluntary sector infrastructure for the county.
Somerset Brick & Tile Museum: The last surviving kiln at the former Barham Brother's yard at East Quay is a poignant reminder of the brick and tile industry which was so important in the county. The kiln, which has been repaired by Somerset County Council with the help of Sedgemoor District Council, is the heart of the future Somerset Brick and Tile Museum. The new museum building and kiln is open to the public
